How do I transfer funds from my overseas account to my Belong wallet?
Once your Belong wallet is active after the completion of KYC, you will be able to see your wallet details in the Belong app itself.
If you are a UAE customer, you can simply link your local bank account and make the transfer. Refer to this article: How to transfer funds from your UAE - linked account to Belong wallet?Below are steps to get the details of your Belong wallet to make a SWIFT transfer.
Please ensure that you transfer the funds only in USD.
1. Home screen
Select the wallet amount button in the app
2. Select add funds button
3. Instructions for adding Belong wallet as beneficiary
4. Your Belong wallet details will be shown
If the SWIFT code mentioned in Belong app is not working with your bank app, please follow the instructions mentioned here.
5. Steps after making the SWIFT transfer
- Select 'I have made the transfer' button
- Enter the amount transferred
6. Share the SWIFT receipt
Once you have transferred, please share your SWIFT advice/SWIFT message over WhatsApp here or you can upload it in the Belong app. This will help us follow-up with the bank and expedite the transfer.
