How can I add funds to my Belong wallet?

You can add funds to your Belong wallet through a SWIFT transfer via your foreign or Indian bank account.

Time: 3-5 working days


Currencies you can transfer in: USD


The app will show you the account details to transfer money from your overseas bank account. You will be able to transfer it from your overseas bank app just like any other SWIFT transfer you do to India. In 3-5 working days, you will see the updated balance in USD in your Belong wallet.


Charges applicable: Your overseas bank will charge you for the SWIFT fund transfer and will convert currency into USD. Belong won’t charge you anything for receiving the transfer.


Currency conversion: Your overseas bank’s conversion rates will apply.


Once the money has reached your Belong wallet, you can invest it instantly.


If you are a customer from the UAE, you can also transfer funds through In-app account linking


Time: 1-3 working days. 


Currencies you can transfer in: AED


The account linking will happen within the Belong app. You will have to link and authenticate your UAE bank account you want to transfer the money from. Once you authenticate, your Belong wallet will be added to your UAE bank account’s payee list. There will be a cool-off period based on your UAE bank. 

After the cool-off period, you will just need to enter the amount and authenticate the transaction and money will be transferred from your UAE bank account to your Belong wallet.


Charges applicable: The transfer takes 1-3 working days and is completely free of charge. 


Currency conversion: Currency conversion from AED to USD will be done by Belong. Belong's exchange rate to convert AED to USD is 3.677.
