You can transfer funds from your NRE account with any bank to Belong wallet via SWIFT Transfer. The process is the same as a regular international bank transfer. In your net banking portal, look for options such as “International Transfer” or “Send Money Abroad.”

Please ensure that you transfer the funds in USD only.

Step-by-step process

Step 1: Add your Belong USD account as a beneficiary

All required beneficiary details are available in your Belong app.

1. Open the Belong app → tap Add Funds.

2. You’ll see the complete set of details you need to add a beneficiary, including like in the image below:

   • Beneficiary Name

   • Beneficiary Account Number

   • SWIFT Code

   • Bank Address / Payee Details
     
     
     

3. Use these details to add your Belong USD account as a beneficiary in your NRE bank’s net banking portal/app.

Step 2: Choose the correct transfer type

While adding the beneficiary, select:

• International Transfer / Send Money Abroad, and

• Destination Country: India

After the beneficiary cool-off period ends (this varies by bank), you will be able to initiate the transfer.

Charges & Conversion rate

Since this is a transfer from your NRE INR account to a USD account, please note:

• Your sending bank will handle the currency conversion (INR → USD).

• Any transaction or conversion charges will also be applied by your sending bank. Typically bank charges 20USD to 25USD per transaction.

• Belong does not charge anything for receiving inbound swift transfers.
