How is the exchange rate calculated?
The USD-INR exchange rate is determined by the forces of supply and demand in the foreign exchange market. When demand for USD increases (e.g., due to imports or investments), the USD strengthens against the INR. Conversely, higher supply of USD or stronger demand for INR can cause the INR to appreciate.
